I do not know if you have ever used the thing but it is one of the best devices available in navigation land.
I have used it for almost 2 years now without any problem, in fact i have two of them but never needed the spare one.
No I would never ever buy a device from a diffrent manufacturer.

Just because you cannot get it to work does not mean it is a bad device.

TOM TOM rocks and the peeps that need one to do their job know it.

I think I have had a lot of more trouble with your site....Then you with your TomTom.,Stefan.

TomTom is the best out there. I have used various satnav and would always go back to TomTom. It may not have the lastest flashy graphics, but it does the job very well compared to the others. I have used TomTom since 2003 and have not found a better replacement.

Being a Pilot I am using GARMIN only.
In the past I had used Lowrance and Tom Tom  Software both had Errors in their mapping.
Garmin is into the Aircraft scene and accuracy is the Name of the Game.
I never had an error with the Garmin. This applies to the North American Market I can not speak for any other.
Just my few cents worth of advise.
