There are several members "HERE" at this web site that do not understand that the "WORLD" can see what is posted here if one was to log on ..... and there is harassing, defamatory and abusive remarks "EVERYWHERE" something productive members should be mad as hell about !

You get rid of "bad" apples ..... or the worms effect the whole crop !!

I agree 100 % Chet !! It's not a easy task at times .... usually I edit out the stuff and PM them about the problem, second time same thing a short ban maybe if needed, if it gets bad it just looks bad and there gone.

The pornographic stuff and drugs short history no exceptions gone.

G'day Fuzzy and all,

I share your concerns. Just lately there have been a number of threads that spread venom across this supposedly technical forum. The amount of antisemitic comments, religious fanaticism and extremist political views have increased beyond all reason.

There should be no place for these things in a forum of this nature. Whilst I am not against free speech there should be some sort of control over those elements that are trying to get a free platform for their extremist views.

Themes such as: " Are the Israelis serial killers and psychopaths?" have no place here and should be discouraged.

I agree with Hans.  This is supposed to be a science and energy research site.  I am sure there are plenty of other non-science forums that would welcome those extremist views.
