Im sure a 1/4 wave resonance would drive the system to further output, but the design of the coils is just for proof of principle I think they will work as designed, its the coils magnetic field reactions that will make this system work, every reaction will reinforce the system, nothing wasted, not flipping the polarity of the magnetic field, but drawing energy out naturally.

Im working on a little different winding technique basically the same just the position of the shorted coil and the secondary in relation to the primary, I'll post a pic soon.

Two-phase systems can also be implemented using three wires (two "hot" plus a common neutral). However this introduces asymmetry; the voltage drop in the neutral makes the phases not exactly 90 degrees apart.
