I don't know, what do you mean OU? More energy out than in?You have always take into consideration from where energy is coming into the system BETWEEN in and out. A snowball definately GAINS energy on the roll down.Kinetic and potential energy are conserved, but not MOMENTUM.
I don't have a time for "speech" disputes. Consider your air conditioning unit, or a heat pump. For 1kW electrical energy it gives 2-4kW of heat.IS it OU? No- unless you consider from where is this extra energy coming.It is just an efficient device to utilise energy from ambient air.
