Hi CC and all who would like tyo join in
maybe to make our tests to be easily monitored
dont know if you would agree
start with your post  set up and circuit used then just quote repeatedly for the
the results   good or bad 
just like an email where we can trace the history
any ideas gentlemen   ..... a locked thread by admin  or anything just to collate the data when we do changes / adaptation of ideas
at least we can eliminate / lessen  repetitive tests that already had been done before in this thread

Ive played with bifi coils, but not as a primary of a transformer.

As for the windings ratio, since ive thought on it since my last post, I would go for a 'slight' step up.  Like if the primary is 100 turns, make the secondary 110 turns. All we want is for the secondary to produce an increase in voltage compared to the input.

If we input 10v and we get 11v in the secondary cap, all in just 1 cycle, then we have lift off. 10 cycles would be higher than 20v. ;)   Using a 1 to 1 ratio would never do it. If we wind the sec with a high ratio, like 1/10, the voltage might be higher, but amps will be low. If the amps are inherently low, the HV means nothing really, if the current its driving cannot flow. ;)   Maybe even use 1 size larger wire for the sec(110 turns) compared to the primary(100 turns) as to be assured that the secondary 'can' produce at least the same or more current than the primary, where the resistance of the wire wont be an obstacle and not come into question. So if say we pulse the primary with 10v 1a, the secondary could produce 1a but at 11v.  10w in 11w out.  Doesnt sound like much. But if it happens thousands of times per second, it will build quickly. If it even works. ;)

Soo, as an example, wind 50 turns bifi (equals 100 turns of wire) and 110 or even 120 turns of single secondary wire of a larger AWG than used in the secondary.

Note, its best to wind the sec first and the primary on top. The core or inner core of an ecore will be where most of the primary field will be attracted to, thus having the sec in the way, it gets induced by the primary better than the other way around.

EDIT Oh I see now: use your shown circuit to drive the two primaries with the MOSFETs and the IR2153 remains the driver to the MOSFETs, right?  And the two batteries in your schematic would be replaced by C1 and C2 from Tito's circuit.  Ok!

I built a toroid based on the schematic from Tito with no coil for the output, just to see how it works and see if the charge is maintained, goes up or down.
I replaced the batteries with capacitors, different values and power is lost after few cycles. I realised that the IC is powered on pin 1 from one of these caps and and there I need to have a constant voltage. I disconnected the pin 1 from the circuit and connected to a separate supply, pin 8 will get the power while the system is started.
With external supply for the circuit it ran a bit longer, about 30 seconds then power is lost again.
Now I realised that a full bridge rectifier will not help as it sends power to both capacitors at the same time killing the source instead of charging the other capacitor. I replaced the bridge rectifiers with a single diode for each side of the circuit checking the polarity of the coils. Now when cap 1 discharges most of the power goes into cap 2, these where my assumptions then tested and I was right, system is running for about 3 minutes then it stops. The way I  wound the coils is with primary coil on top of the secondary and secondary from first coil connects via diode to the cap 2 then the same here, secondary from the second coil connects via diode to cap 1.
Another test. I replaced the capacitors with 5 100F/2.7v supercapacitors, 5 for each side. Now system is running loosing very little power but not stable or going up.
Conclusions: I believe that replacing the transistors with thyristors we can have better results. Lately I have done many experiments with thyristors and I am very impressed.
