It is a big advantage in running at higher voltage, first because power from the 'air' is in that range then to create a resonant system with high voltage will require small value capacitors that means cheaper comparing with a resonant system running at 10v where we will need large capacitance. Tuning and stability is much better with high voltage.

Should run the main coil(sender) with sharp pulses and not in resonance and larger gap in between pulses, the resonance comes into action after each pulse and in between the main and output coil or only in the output coil.

How have you been? :)

I get that to produce an amount of energy to a primary or a load that at lower voltages the cap must be big compared to high voltage. Also it takes less current at high voltage to produce a similar power output.

I also understand that using very short pulses helps to let the secondary do its thing without the primary affecting it, because the primary was only on for a minute amount of time, never the less, a powerful event. But if the secondary is ringing at resonance, how long will that last into a load, and does it add up to more power than 'the powerful event' pulse? ;)
