Let me remind you. Tesla Primary is always 2 wound coils. Like the egg of Columbus Machine. Bifilar Pancake Coils. The one I attached is for AC to Dc Conversion with no Commutator being used on Tesla's time. I have reversed the Picture instead of AC to DC i made it DC to AC LOL. . Which the royer oscillator is perfect for this Transformer set up. If TotoALas can post a schematic of Pulsing both the Primary Together then disregard my post. The post is for Flip Flop Royer Oscillator your problems of the Bemf  can be solved by this 2 Branch of Core, better used 2 Flyback Cores.

Yah got it right. What happens here is the two flyback core have two different magnetic orientation. Lets say if Primary F = Top- South and Bottom- North, the other Primary E = Top- North and Bottom- South. The windings of both Primary should started with CW. The same goes for the Secondary it should also start with CW. When I say start with CW keep in mind that I look at the End of Each Coil as CCW. Look closely the end of Each coil and analyze they look like CCW on me, The starting is CW and the ending is CCW.

So we have the ending of Primary F CCW connected to the starting Primary E CW. What do you call this set up? The secondary is like a ONE Coil wind on both TWO flyback Cores.

Matching cores is the problem, I got mine from and older tv but its hard to find cores that match and this circuit heats up iron rings fast.

Ferrite powder is more common than I would have thought and different compounds.
