Would an AV Plug made from hi speed zener diodes allow charge and a standing wave to build up in the unit until it's ready to produce power?
Seems to me, this would enable oscillation to continue without killing the dipole.

I now understand that tito didn't build that device alone. There were others who perfected it and told tito not to talk about how it was amplified, which tito complied. There were three men, together with tito making them four that built the device. A lady was there as a spectator, making them five.
