Also is your magnetic path closed, in other words are you using a toroid, or some other closed magnetic path.
Lets look at the shorted coil on a toroid and a solenoid
Look at Leedskalnin's pmh it has a closed path magnetic field, as long as the magnetic field is not broken the electric field orbits the coils but as soon as the path is broken(solenoid configuration) the electric field callapses into the coils.
You want a standing electric field this brings the aether to your device sets it in motion and charges the field, then you have a standing field to draw from, if you want alot of water you go to a pond you dont set a bucket in the rain.

This is why realizing the electric field is there is so important, it is the field that transfers energy in a transformer and it brings to realization that energy can be transfered without breaking the magnetic field.
If we look at an EI core transformer with the coils wound on the center leg we can see the electric field is inside the magnetic field, this is a closed system and very effecient at transfering energy from one voltage-amp relationship to another but no gain because it is closed.
But with a toroid the electric field is on the outside of the toroid, open system, ok we have an open system, just winding open path coils we get an electric field that pulses (rises and falls) but if we add a shorted coil it cannot fall it sustains a field, then we can draw from that field(our pond)

Thanks for the input.  I am using an E core for this transformer.

Tito once talked about coils perpendicular to each other. Would this have anything to do with the electric fields effect between the coils?


Really, I dont know if this this is going to work till I try try try.  Im putting together a 556 timer circuit where one of the timers in the chip is freq and the other will be a one shot with adjustable duty cycle. Need to be around 40khz. And the one shot needs to be a much faster pulse(on time) than 1 cycle at 40khz.

Hopefully we see something. Due to possible drift of the circuitry, I want to figure a way to trigger the one shot from the natural freq of resonance of the bifi oscillation. Some sort of peek detector.

Tito had mentioned zener diodes. Once he said at least 3v zener. But I dont see what or where to use it. One direction the zener conducts at less than 1 volt and the other direction at 3v. Hadnt figured a use for that yet.

One usage of zener could be this : put it between a battery bank and large electrolytic capacitor. Then if you have magic Tito circuit and capacitor is overcharged 3V above the voltage of baterry bank (which is the source of power filling capacitor and all losses compensations while circuit is working for example out of the best condition of without feedback from the output stage) then capacitor excess energy is discharged to battery which stays happy charged . One Tito tip is exactly describing such effect in my humble opinion. I tested something like that with JT charging one capacior connected via zener diode to the other and it works (but would work much better with capacitor + battery configuration)

There's a patent on a crystal radio that powered itself and the only prerequisite to make the device work  was that the coils be perpendicular to each other. I mapped the electric field around the solenoid coils this is what it looked like, in the radio he had only two coils but I carried it a little farther to get the point across and to help me visualize it.
I make these images to help me learn, and a picture is worth a thousand words.

Something else that is of interest is the way these magnetic forks in an alternator loop around and bring the magnetic field into the plane of the electric field, Im sure this would boost both fields.
