I have a few of these Utkin files. They all seem to start on the same page, but some are different as you go. But, they all point to oppositely wound coils from the middle. Not necessarily bifi, but oppositely wound. Also it seems backward of what Teets says as to what the primary and secondary are.

Gunna use a smaller pvc tube with multi layer windings left and right of the middle. I think a smaller dia will have more concentration of field in the core.

If this is what the TPU is using, his 4 coils look pretty short. ;]

I ended up using multi-stranded single wire: 30 cw on top half, 30 ccw on bottom. My tube was 3" wide pvc. No real difference in power. I was running pulsed DC thru a relay switch and into coil, with a 12 v bulb as resistive load. Tried wiring as centre-tapped and in series, but no real voltage difference. Also tried shorted bifi wire thru centre, no voltage reading. Also tried it with an electrolytic cap (1 leg coming out each side) and a mylar cap. Neither would load.
I couldn't get my picture to load as attachment. Maybe it was too large (maybe it was the aliens again). Will try again another time.
Yeah, I need to go back to Tito's specs, and to try a narrower tube as well - maybe 1" or 1.5" dia. Will save this puppy for some Utkinizing later on.

Hey Bob.  I got no readings with my meter. Are you using a scope?

From my readings, maybe something builds if the input pulses are faster. Kicks. This reminds me of Agent Gates coil, as he said it was a function of the TPU. Maybe we gotta kick it up a few notches along the way.  ;]

The utkin thing seems to imply that the opposite wound coils could self oscillate once excited , and build on is own. Even gives advice on how to stop the oscillation process.     Interesting.  ;]   That may be a theoretical, idealistic form. Even so, an ideal LC should just ring forever, but even with losses, a circuit that has tendencies to build on its own, should be advantageous in the real world.

Hopefully the new one Im making has more to show. Ill show both when its done.
