Hey guy's Iv been out of town for a few days working, just got back in, Im not sure which flip flop circuit to use, you guys are the electronic guru's I just study the magnetic fields.

I watch and study everyone's work and try to put together a working principle, I plan on building this soon as well,

I hope this works but at the same time it scares me a little.

Well, Tito said put on the big rubber gloves or it will bite you. ;]

If it is a self building oscillation, it will have to be regulated some how. Supposedly we use a spark gap to shut it down and/regulate.

Its funny, the spark is just a safety mechanism, not the secret. ;]  I wonder if it will continuously spark and regulate, or the spark kills it and you have to 'kick' it again.

Im starting first using alarm wire with 4 conductor 22awg color coded wire.

In the Utkin pdf, his coils look to be more than 1 layer. Im going to do 4 layers for the 2 secondaries. Im using a peal and stick clear plastic with the non stick side rolled around the 2in pvc, and on the sticky side out start winding, as the sticky will anchor the first layer nicely and the plastic allows the coil to slide on the pvc for testing proximity of the 2 secondaries.

The 4 wires will give me flexibility in configuration and and easy winding session. At least for trials.  ;]
