Free energy is as simple as this one:

Crystal power 
I have some idea's on this as well using ice  , but I have to see this through, it just makes too much sense.

I think I'll wind my coils using 12 ga stranded wire as thats all I have that will carry enough amps, I have 16 ga magnet wire but dont think it will carry the amperage.
Im going to use single windings, no layers, to see if the system works, if so it could be expanded upon later.

This is what made me start looking at the electric field years ago, I froze a coil in ice and found there are fields I didnt understand.
The first pic is the coil froze in a vertical position, the second is the same coil froze in a horizontal position.
