the only limiting factors would be the core material and wire resistance

The only problem would be the resonance would be that of the transformer and not the coils I want to drive.

Something Iv come to realize in this thought experiment is its the core material and wire resistance that determines resonance, this is why LS one transistor sys works its the core allowing the magnetic field reach a higher frequency, faster switching.
I wonder build two LS transformers one cw one ccw position them end to end and let them oscillate together from the center out.
