So do we want to push once in a while, or a bit each cycle? A pendulum would simulate an LC, where when the pen is at full swing upward, that would be voltage, stored pressure, and during the fast bottom swing, that would be current flow, then the swing up the other side is the neg voltage build till peak height.

So as to when we should apply the minimum 'push' to keep the pen swinging, is most likely just before or at the natural pen swing height. Left or right top swing height. it would require too much energy to try and add push while in full speed bottom swing. So we want to add push/voltage when the pen reaches or near peak, just enough to take it over the top.

But what has always eluded me is how to take energy from the pen without causing it to drastically slow down, thus needing more push to make up for it.

you can push once, then take out energy from many cycles of damped oscillation, as some boy saisd: knok bell once, collect rings. or give a push in every cycle to make more energy.
you can at the HV point, or H Current point to push , and to collect extra energy, but can not at the same point and same time to do 2 things above.
every push not only for add more energy to overcome losses, the aim is to produce extra energy(kicks)!
about the way of how to take energy out, I agree with stufy's suggestion from Tesla. or you can use the way like collect bell ring energy above.

What the researcher has to do is to see the Motor-Generator-shaft as center coil
and the motor-coils and generator-coils as the center circumstanding bi-filiar coil(s)


Now it is to understand that the energy system can be explored
by HV -or not,by HF -or not,by pulsed DC-or not ....
it can be explored in conventional manner,no special skills important,only the right
configurated material ( scratch recycling and scan 3D and replicate)

Hey Mags
Its running about 20 khz drawing about 4.5 amps nothing special so far, I still want to dump it into a dual rail, Iv got the parts just need to assemble everything.
Iv got a scope and some analog meters on the way should be here next week, Im going to try and get it to run at the res freq of the coils, will be neat to see what happens if anything.
