Hmmmm. I expected some chastising but not so soon and certainly did not expect to be asked to retract or change my post, that is kind of overdoing it. I know my views come often from left field as I try to look at things from outside the box because always staying inside the box, well working in the dark is bad for the eyes.

Zeners are used to dump excess juice to ground, right or wrong. Right. So what if you put a coil between the Zener and ground so it dumps the juice into a primary coil instead of flat to ground. Then perpetuate the dumping condition so you get continuous pulsing.

Plus the zener conducts in the other direction so any flyback, field collapse or field release or bias reclamation can occur as well. You get the best of both worlds. Much better then freshly sizzled mosfets.

I am simply looking at different ways to pulse because pulsing is the Achilles heel of all OU research. That and poor diode choice. hichic

Very nice ! Good work. Please explain how relay is pulsed ? Externally or wired as self-oscillating using other/unused contacts ?
What transformer you used , ordinary or toroid core ?
