Doesnt it seem like a lot of action for an ant circuit?      When Tito would hint towards these devices, my interest was low because of what I 'knew' of the small amount of energy that could be had. But this is no joke. In my opinion anyway.

Guys, I think the person who posted this might be a fellow named "Dragon" over on EF.  His avatar had LENZ written across it, shaped like an upside down crescent moon (like a smile).  I seem to think he posted a few things about the video back on the Don Smith Devices thread, maybe around pages 125-175?
Anyway, it's a foggy recollection.  I thought he was putting the plate between two batteries, and the excited fields around the batteries connected to a pulsing circuit caused the plate to pick up the RE and thus, the spark.  I dunno...  it's quite a while ago.  But if I'm correct, it kind of harkens back to what I said about the pulsing within Tito's setup(and others that are similar) exciting the electrostatic environment, and the coil, battery or plate acting like an antenna (the plate in this case) and picking up the influx of RE. 
Just a thought.  Packin' it in - just back from a long road trip, but had to log in here to see what's goin' on
