I am 100% sure now don smith, tesla coil and kapanadze device draw energy from the ground. Theres no energy gain in coil alone. The coil only act as a pump of this energy from the ground. In core type like magnacoaster, MEG, and floyd sweet VTA (exception to bob and leal energy captor), the energy was drawn from the surrounding heat thereby coolling the core material and also thats why grounding is not necessary. The core material absorb the heat converting it to electrical energy. So if you want to build a portable energy device, choose core type and if you want a high power device choose air core ground type device.
