For obvious reasons intelligence agencies are very interested in such things both from an ability to gather, and finding means to protect stand points.  Quite a bit of funding went into studying these sorts of claims back in the 1970s, a bit notoriously including the experiments with Uri Geller, the once claimed psychic who now refers to himself as a "mystifier".  PS: he also sells jewelry on TV.

There may be people who have the powers that you cite.  Or there may not be such people.  Objective evidence would be a good way to settle things.
