True enough Bill.

But it was the "pay to beta test my product that you will never own" (you'll just think you do, but the EULA says you are buying the right to use the OS but M$ can do anything with it or to it without your consent, and you can't.) that convinced me to cut my Win98 apron strings and go total GNU/linux.

That type of genius scares me almost as much as the amount of sensitive information worldwide that is entrusted to a closed source proprietary OS whose track record for security and vulnerability disclosure is historically not that exemplary.

Let's just say I like my energy ideas the same way I like my operating system; open source.

The peer review, testing, collaboration, and vulnerability fix speed of open source is just more "honest" and responsive.
If you don't like it, you can change it (if you have the skill). This is not an option w/ M$.

As to the B&M Gates foundation, what billionaire do you know that does NOT use charitable contributions for a sheltering tax dodge?

Jeez! It is a shaker flashlight that runs off of fossil fuels and has a spark plug at each end.

He wants to generate electricity using fossil fuels and pollute the air in a more direct and cost effective way  :)

It does sound like a good engine for HHO.

Bill Gatus of Borg does make mistakes. Anybody remember what 'NT' stood for originally?
