Aluminum wrapped Neodymium: Amazing repulsion effect

That brings up something interesting though. If one side (or both) was dipped in an aluminum coating with a center hole absent of the aluminum,could the field be focused more?

This is exactly what I do not understand. If both sides of the magnet have the same amount of aluminum layering, why the different effect for N as opposed to S??

Strange, but I will not linger over it, maybe try a few things but that´s it.
