Also, for some reason, in the vid above, it looks like a sparkgap/suppressor across the cap leads. If there is low voltage like in the first vid, then what is the suppressor for? ;]

I think:
In the first vid (by delamorto) there was no load (i.e. no resistance on the output), so the high Amps were "short-circuit amps".
FreeEnergyLT uses a load resistor in his setup, so the voltage will go up (and amps down). I think he uses the surge arrestor (spark gap) as a safety device to prevent overcharging the cap.

I tried with a microwave oven cap (in aluminum case) and had no luck. I think these guys use a kind of film caps (motor run caps).

Guys this will have no end do you see...
1 kapanadze did not show you what is hidden in his boxes, figuring out what happens inside is 1: to the amount of part they have inside x your chance to get it right,  so nearly nothing.
he might have some special transformer hidden inside his box and he shows you a spark outside the box which may have nothing to do with the device at all, so you are left to play with high voltage and never figure out anything...
it is really  a sad thing that in this world nobody shares because of the hope that they can pile up some physcial means from it -money
but most think this is right,  and they will be left with the devil 

Do you guys know if this technology ever sees light on the publics side, everyone will make these devices, noone will ever care about the energy companies... the government will not able to tax it because it is free, it is a knoweledge and knoweledge can not be made illegal for free use, because that goes back to dictatorship and that is against democracy.

so their bullshit system fails anyway and it breathes its last breaths!

William McFreey made an analysis of the Kapanadze devices that makes sense. See this document.

His explanation has one flaw - namely: a perpendicular magnetic field can confine charged particles to a disk (which essentially is a 2D geometric figure) but the products of beta decay are emitted in all 3 dimensions, and their directions are again randomized in 3D by each scattering event inside solid matter.

As for the "flaw", I am sure you did not mean the true meaning of this word. McFreey is concentrating on the basic phenomenon behind the working principles of the device and not every detail or ideal condition.
I agree, spontaneous decay and NMR enhanced radiation is 3D but the stimulated radiation may not be. In lasers, for instance, spontaneous emission is 3D, stimulated emission is not.
