The point is in the FE research we are only guided by hope and imagination without having any concrete evidence of it. OK, if you see the FE literature, at least 100 devices are supposed to demonstrate OU in a manner unacceptable by the current physics - hence called surpressed technologies.

Yet not one has been widely at least replicated and indepedently verified. It seems that the hunderd + devices are more "ideas" and myths rather than actual devices existed.

I tend to believe its something like witchcraft. Formal science denies it, yet a overwhelming lot of people believe its existance. Yet they are unable to utilize them to their benefit and from time to time a "wizard" appears and claims he has done it, showing ambiguous facts and vague theories...

Just a thought. Do not take anything for granted at this misty scenery.

Like I've said many times, the reason for those claims to go unchecked by independent parties is that those third parties don't even have basic equipment, let alone sophisticated, research level one. On the other hand, institutions that have such equipment absolutely don't allow using it for studying OU. A third possibility is setting up companies and providing the necessary equipment this way (as Steorn has done). Sadly, that isn't a solution either -- shareholders, lawyers, the essence of business itself do not allow proper dissemination of the R&D done inside the company. What will be visible is the product and reaching the stage of producing something marketable isn't straightforward at all, protecting it from being stolen even less. It's sticky wicked and the fact that after so many claims we're still at the entrance door of OU is primarily social, having nothing to do with whether or not OU is real.
