Itsu, about Nano Pulser.

The same rules are for Nano Pulser and Master Oscillator on TL494. Pulsing ferrite core can be done with High Speed Bipolar Transistor, MOSFET or High Voltage - High Speed Thyristors. Insted of КТ926 use 2SC3264e Bipolar Transistor.

For diode use Ð"Ð"РÐ' diodes like КÐ"203А, КÐ"204, 2Ð"210А, 2Ð"210Ð', КÐ"210A, КÐ"210Ð', Ð"Л 132-50. Equivalent diode exist.

Ferrite core is small 7mm Ð¥ 4 mm Ð¥ 2 mm ferrite ring with permeance 6000НМ or 3000.  You can use bigger fettite with the same permeance like 16mm x 10mm x 4.5 mm. The more permeance is better coz core loses are smaller. Core ring must be cooled by RADIATOR OF TRANSISTOR OR THYRISTOR. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTAND PART. Seal it up when you finish with winding and trimming or glue it on radiator. Wire need to be teflon insulated (for high temperature) PTFE wire or similar quality wire for high temperature. Use 0.35mm or smaller diameter. 

It's important to be used High Voltage Impulse unipolar Capacitors with good dielectrics like X5P, X5U, X5V, X7R, Z5P, Z5U etc.

Here are some schematics of Nano Pulsers. Schematics are tested and work well. If you can't make it it mean you have made some mistake. So check your Nano Pulser again !!
You need good wideband oscillograph with big trigger capability to catch sharp impulse in nano and piko range. Use quality HV oscillograph probe 1000:1 for measuring kVolt pulses. This is most important part for Oscillograph in HV power electronics so don't complain on his price coz he will save your Oscillograph and also save you from lot of headache.

Diode bridge need to be good quality and storage capacitors too.

Master oscillator on TL494CN is standard like in many AT - ATX power supplies. Use big heat sinks for output transistors.

And last find a broad copper stripe for Good and Quality Ground. This is Most Important coz device don't work without Ground!!

ps. Save your Owon Oscillograph Itsu, buy a HV probe !! I wish you luck. Take care !!

I think this is simply a method of magnifying the effects of the energy input over a longer time
by building it up in "waves" while no load is drawn, then switching the load in and allowing more
energy to dissipate in the load in the same time "relatively" than the energy that could be dissipated
in the load by one electromagnetic wave.

He's storing up some energy in waves and putting it through the load in a shorter time frame,
eg. using arbitrary figures, he can store up in waves, say 10 Watts for 10 seconds
and put into the load 100 Watts for 1 second with not much losses. This way he can power
the load with 100 Watt pulses or surges using 10 Watts input by storing it up in
waves. That's how I read it anyway. The figures I just made up as an example.
Whereas with just the load exposed to the waves continuously the maximum would be 10 Watts or something
the numbers are not important.

if I correctly remember the toroid transformer increase frequency two times. At this point is not possible direct loop to input. If I'm wrong let me know.
