If a complete loop makes a single turn the split copper pipe equals something like 0.9 turns depending on the slit diameter..

The flux in a toroid is focused within so it works like a toroid transformer

Im guessing the skin depth of the nail looks like a single turn to the flux..

I have put a slit copper pipe inside a tesla coil and just about cooked myself with the current

As it has been said, our Russian colleagues are far more advanced in experimenting with these technologies. I have been keeping an eye at the lab101 forum. They have a group of experimenters there and discuss some real nice possibilities.
By the way the BS does not lack.

He already posts into two forums and wants to share. can someone knowledgeable in Russian language and registered @ matrix or lab101 to ask him about a review of what he is up to and see if we can help here also.

I know someone here has probably translated or summarised the vids (special russian transformer) that Haltiberlin posted, but just in case it hasnt been, heres my summary

frequency generator at 66 KHz.
12V battery

Special ''crafty'' (or not so crafty ) transformer made with 2 wires attached to cylindrical copper foil with small section removed (slot).  cylindrical copper surrounded both inside and outside by ferrite beads.  2 plastic ''cheeks'' attached to each end of transformer to seal up the copper.  Then any metal can be used in the hollow core as the secondary of this strange transformer.

Have i missed anything??  some parts were a little difficult for me

Easy transformer to make - i'd like to mess about with one, but i need to buy a frequency generator.

But hey you are obviously not entirely into Kapanadze technology (what THIS thread is about) and have
2 threads ALREADY running discussing your eccentric transformers.
Do you need more attention or something?

In post #1443 you have made claims that you DO HAVE kapanadze devices and did not present them and evaded any questions concerning that.
Kapanadze devices by the way are self-running and exhibit COPs in the several hundreds.

@xenomorphlabs, I agree with your criticism of @armagdn03. If he really has a device such as Kapanadze's (and he claims he had it even earlier than him) then he should demonstrate it and not only make unsubstantiated statements, especially giving the appearance that he is determined to be open about it. We've seen nothing from him so far and that's nothing new. We've seen a number of such phony claimants, that's sad and should be nipped in the bud.

As for the efficiency of Kapanadze's device, if it really is self-sustaining, as he claims, then its efficiency (not COP, but real efficiency) should be infinite and not just amount to several hundreds.
