220V at almost zero amps in (0:26) and 220V at 3 × 10 amps out (1:44) situated on a glass table in an magnetically (radio frequency) shielded room with a lot of people around taking measurements. I'm sure there are many fakes involved in this device, excluded the output of high current itself. That current seems to be (the only thing?) real according to all what we know so far.

Now further basic testing, because square one is my favorite square. :D

Basic research #4: 12V in 650V out due to pulsing with a simple switch. This kind of configuration with two coils gives the highest voltage. Basic research #4a: With 12V sine wave the output voltage is only 36V. Basic research #4b: With 12V sine half wave the voltage output stays at 36V. Basic research #4c: With 220V sine wave the voltage output is 620V, but still lower than with 12V pulsing.

That implies that in order to generate high voltage (and energy?) by means of the back voltage of a choke, the disconnection of the choke has to take place abruptly, so it generates sharp pulses. Furthermore when there is no capacitor connected which can accumulate the generated current then this energy is lost and vanishes into nothing, because the current taken from the battery stays apparently the same whether the capacitor is connected or not.

If 12V in gives 650V out, then what would be the out-voltage if the in-voltage is 220V? It calculates to approx. 12.000V to 16.000V, hmmm ... I have never tried this, I don't want to burn out my equipment. But anyway this is proof one can generate 650V out of 12V with an ordinary 50Hz transformer, hence there is no need for a flyback (or the like) in order to have high voltage and some sparks. Means the TK spark is almost for sure a by-product of the device's function.

Now some theory: If one generates a sharp start-up pulse (or a few *) then the out-voltage will increase. When the voltage has reached a certain level then a spark could provide the next sharp pulse by itself, so the voltage can increase even more. That means, if the back voltage generated by a choke contains indeed some additional energy then the spark could be self-sustaining at some point (if connected the right way). If, on the other hand, the back voltage generated by a choke contains no additional energy then the question arises where is the additional energy coming from in the TK device? Because the NMR theory is even more far-fetched than the BEMF theory. But some kind of physical basis should apply nevertheless.

* At 20:20 of the tin can video the spark gap does not fire (not visible), at 20:45 the assistant toggles the switch a few times till the light goes on. Question: If the switch simply connects the lamps, then why is it that they are not brightly lit at the first attempt? So what does this switch actually do? Does the switch perhaps start the spark manually in case the build-in auto-start has failed?

BTW: If we assume (just for fun :) ) that three of the diodes on the diode plate are fake (non-functioning, because of the strange wiring) then we are left with a transformer, a diode and a capacitor right next to each other in the 2004 video.

An explanation could be that he is actually having a standing wave condition in the load circuit.
Two measurements in the same circuit being totally different depending if he hit an antinode or node with the multimeter probes.

Zeitmaschine:  like a king said earlier maybe we are in front of a bedini sort of replication, in free energy bearden book, it is said, to have a 1:1 transformer, rapid closing opening switch, capacitor.  i really like your explanation and basic experiment that are not so basic, because i dont understand all that is involved in it.  My guess is make, break the faster you can.  keep up the good work man..

I don't know nearly as much as most here, but I get the feeling a make-break in a rhythmic pulse, utilizing back emf, a secondary, and cap would oscillate.
