Naudin's power computations only consider the peaks of an envelope-modulated waveform. The envelope modulation can be seen in the video as the fluctuating heights of the peaks in the scope display. The scope of course isn't triggering on the "zeros" of the envelope modulation. When the entire envelope is considered the true average output power is less than 900 Watts. This is also confirmed by the light meter readings.

An easy test: use the scope with the same settings to look at the power in the induction cooker's output coil.

I don't understand his experiment, was he testing the efficiency of an induction cooker or the coupling to the bifilar serial connected flat spiral coil ?
If there was OU it would be from the cooker.    Bit strange. Not sure what he would have expected to see any different from what he did see.

@farmhand, Naudin is simply checking power in to power out. I have played a lot with induction hobs and results are very promising, the experiments have nothing to do with cooking or heat, in fact the coils only run cool. I have no measurements other than power in (approx 1KW), And I could light so many bulbs I had to use a 3KW industrial heater as load. The circuit is pulsed DC into coils.Sadly only one mosfet so induction hobs soon burn out. I am on induction hob number 15. So much for free energy.

Scheme is like the   Don Smith scheme from the secondary coil of Tesla transformer. But there are missing items, then the throttle should be another capacitor and the load.

The first part of the board - it's a transmitter. The second part is a crystal set radio.
