  A normal coil passes currents which creates a magnetic disruption.  A conductor surrounded by a changing magnetic field (even though the current through it is the scource of the changing magnetic field) still represents a conductor lieing in a changing magnetic field and will generate a counteremf to the line voltage.  This is why inductors phase shift the current in relationship to the applied voltage.  If the coil is wound with lots of self-inductance and the applied emf is of short duration then current is said to be choked.  In a bifilar there is alot of choking going on.  There is however alot of charging going on due to the electric field between layers of the conductor.  This was Tesla's goal.  He was tired of the glorified leyden jars and designed the coils to serve as hf capacitors.  There would be no through current but there would be charging current.  If we apply ac to a circuit and it does work but we couple this ac circuit to a second circuit through a capacitor.  Work done in the secondary circuit is done due to the electric field every conductor under "pressure" emits.  It's like a balloon.  You blow into the balloon and it displaces air all about it as the balloon internal pressure builds up.  We know that we can regain the work we put into blowing up the ballon.  (discharging the capacitor)  This creates displacement waves in the electric field that arises between Earth and other places throughout the Universe.  This is what Tesla was doing.    He was blowing up a big electrical balloon and then discharging said balloon over and over and over again at high rates of repetition.  This is not an energy harvesting scheme this is an energy distribution scheme.
   It will send out electrical displacement waves which when received changes the electric field terminating on far off conductors.  In the analogy the far off ballons inflated to a steady state begin to feel alternate compression and relaxation of the local atmospheric pressure.  (The scalar potential if you will.)  When the scalar potential is increased the balloon is compressed.  Out flows the excess pressure through a conduit through a turbine to a point in space not experiencing the compression wave.  (1/4 wavelength away is usually a trough).  Upon passage of the compression wave the scalar potential returns the balloon to a normal state of inflation.

I've demonstrated the Royer ZVS oscillator portion several times. As the schematics indicate, this circuit is the basis for induction furnaces as well as high-performance flyback transformer drivers, and I have also shown how it can be used for _wireless inductive power transmission_.
(This latter fact alone should be raising red flags in Kapanadze believers; if TK knows about this circuit then he knows about wireless power transmission and can make things that run without appearing to have a power supply.)
