If you analyze the above equation for different Gain Media (γ) , then it becomes immediately apparent that for the same frequency (f), iron devices (e.g. Michael Meyer system) are the smallest, zinc ferrite devices (e.g. the Yoke device) are medium sized , and copper devices are the largest.

   As a capacitor  is charged  (electrons are removed from one plate and deposited on a second)  the internal electric field of the capacitor becomes dense.   This creates a stress on the dielectric interposed between the two oppositely charged plates.  Electrons bound tightly to the atoms of the dielectric mass feel the field effects of the charging capacitor.  At some point the electric field becomes irresistable and the electrons leave the atomic mass and are accelerated towards the holes in the positively charged plate.  If the dielectric is a gas the electrons have a greater degree of freedom before  interacting with other electrons and or neuclei.  They gain velocity from the electric field due to the charge polarization existing between the two capacitor plates.    A single electron leaving the parent atom can cause ionization of a second atom which is accelerated causing an electron avalanche.  This causes a large current pulse moving at large fractions of the speed of light towards the anode.  If the anode is coated with a solid dielectric the current pulse falls short of total dielectric breakdown of the capacitor.  The effects of a large number of electrons aggregating on the face of the electrode is to create an accelerating force on the remaining electrons in the anode plate via quantom tunneling.  This is a very short impulse of current which can be filtered out and dumped to a load via use of a highpass filter or a high voltage avalanche diode for that matter.  The primary avalanche can be enhanced by a scource of ionizing radiation like a uv laser pulse  (if using air as the gain medium)  The capacitor is then discharged into an inductor for the high voltage condtion recycle as new gas is brought into the capacitor.  If water vapor is used as the gain medium hydrogen production occurs along with ozone,  various nitrogen oxides and carbon 14 laden hydrocarbons and acids.
   I believe what occurs in this case is that accelerated electrons (beta radiation)  either directly enter the proton or cause inner valence electrons to make a quantom leap to the core of the proton.   The two particles superimposed create a  particle which displays no net charge.  Something like a neutron.  The nitrogen proton is converted to a neutron yielding 6protons and 8neutrons. Carbon 14.   What I am not sure of is the difference in mass of an electron outside of the neucleus compared to the mass of an electron inside the neucleus.  It may pickup mass just by passing through the neucleus.  Like it is sticky.  Upon exiting the neucleus  it dumps the excessive mass in the form of photons and becomes a normal electron.  These are the electrons that passed through not the ones that got stuck in the proton.

Ok, guys, big question (for me) : why if you kick an LC tank circuit we can see ringdown oscillations ? I think some aspects are not well analyzed...

Because the resistance in the LCR circuit converts electric current into heat at the rate I2R anytime the instantaneous current is not zero.
For a pure LC circuit the "ringdown" does not occur.
