SR 193 did not use a spark gap : wrong HE DID , see Attachment.
And no diodes in the HV circuit. And he uses a 50 Hz carrier ! The principle is a inverter transformer,
with HV coil in between.
It's this NMR thing of the ferrite core, imho .
The only circuit I could replicate is a kacher where the long thin coil at it's lower end has zero node (at the base of the transistor) and a 1/4 wave HV -node at the top .

I told you what i have meant about experiment in video which you have replicated without success!! In video spark-gap was short-circuited so not used. I was watching original SR193 replication video and yes he used spark gap there with a very tiny spark, also used ferrite sausage, and power nf modulator on 50Hz with two transistors or mosfets.

On Realstrannik forum member MadsatBg have gave long time ago his schematic of SR193 replication. He didn't succeed in replication. Here is his schematic.
Take a look and tell me what''s wrong here ??

I know Charapanov aka SR193 didn't gave his schematic to anybody so your shown schematic and all other SR193 probably schematics which were rolling on internet are not correct.

Below is SR194 HV source which maybe he used in his replication !! He used ТВС 90П-4 transformer (flyback)
