He  then later might have used it this way, as he emailed Ossi now.

So the question is now, if the iron plate is now a real third ground connection,
how does it reduce the power input ?

Is it a real ground connection or just a sparking
loose ground connection ?

The input power should be really measured much more far away inside the house
at the begining of en extension cord cable, maybe about 30 to 50 Meters away
from the experiment, otherwise the RF pulses from the spark gap
can just jam the ampere meter.

Those who replicated let them try both : metal plate, and real third ground: grounding core with pipe in ground and connected to core
REALLY HV outout of mot  is attached one side to core.. so it obviously MUST be grounded

Would covering the spark gap (top and 2 sides) help eliminate some of the RF from interfering with the AMP meter?

What if the steel plate under the MOT acts as positive instead of a ground?
Wouldn't it connect with one of the grounds to complete a circuit?
grnd rod ------------------ plate (pos/neg osc)
It would oscilate from the left side of the MOT, through the center of the core, to the ground rod on left of callanan schema, through the earth, to the plate, back to the MOT? It might pick up extra energy?

I'm just thinking out loud from a non-electrical engineer point of view.

Take ferrite core from PC power supply ... put it in series with 220V imput to mot on both rails... main PC power supply core is AC so gap should be added to ferrite to increase inductance... also you can youse output torroid ferrite coreas instead..... tv flyback cores.....
All that is needed is to filter everything above for example 1000Hz

also capacitor paralel can be added of calculated value for filter you want to make....
Good filtering will be able you use classic digital multimeter to measure power

Being skeptic is good. Especially if you have been involved in this field as much as me.
Concerning experimenting, i doubt if you ever do half the experiments i have done already.

I am going to perform a basic experimenting with lamp brightness lighted by mains, in various intensities and then we see.

For those involved a bit in Tesla technologies and have a basic knowledge in EE, the schematic posted in Naudin's site http://jnaudin.free.fr/kapagen/k32.gif  , the capacitor functions as a current limiter to the HV side.
The SG functions only during the second cycle, that the diode blocks the current.

a)The first cycle of current that charges the capacitor is not working accross the SG and the circuit consequently but across diode

CHANGE: I was wrong about energy lost. The cap acts as a voltage DOUBLER during the second cycle.

b)The second cycle of current that is blocked by diode and is commutated across the SG and working circuit. (MOT voltage + CAP voltage)

Calculations
................

Assuming the MOT is outputing 2100 volt at its high side, this means 2100* 2square equals almost 3000 volts. (max)
An 1mf cap working on this side, allows:
1/1000000 * 3000 * 50Hz *(2 cycles) = 0.3 Amps to flow (max)

In energy terms, E = 1/2 * C*V square = 4.5 J (max) * 50Hz *(2 cycles) = 900 watts (max figures)
In reality the above figures are not the ones anyone will observe but lesser ones.

ALL In ALL where is LC oscilation here when diode blocks capacitor to be part of LC oscilator with primary kapagen coil ?
Here we only get DC pulses.. usually unidirectioan pulses could be key for OU
