Also to Laurent,
it would be great if all experimenters would record
their experiments on video and do a narration to it , so one knows,
what perameters they are changing and
upload it to youtube.

This way, everybody can see, what is done and changed and
how the output is changing.
I also did this with my battery experiments.

This way I can always look it up again and see, what I have done.

This is better and easier then to document all via writings only.

The 6 turn coil spacing determines the q factor.
Would be interesting to see if there is a tendency to draw less current with very small spacing or very big spacing.
Romerouk, did you also use the exact same cable types?




This thread would probably only be 100 pages long if the same Kapanadze documents wouldn´t be posted over and over again.

Hi all,

I was very excited when Naudin finally published The Circuit
and almost started building... but now I must sadly say that I Smell Fish
(and it's not fresh). Naudin has a reason to draw 5 (five) 150W
bulbs on circuit powered by 800W transformer (5x150=750+50(losses)=800)

Something is very wrong with this circuit. The Russians also
say it has "nothing incommon" with original Kapanadze circuit.
I speak russian so I have done great deal of research in
russian forums. Here are some key points that may move this
from dead spot:

- think of grounds as of making a "earth-capacitor"

many russians think that it is hidden inside of the tube:
(copper rod - split copper pipe - permalloy or ferrite - tube - outer coils)

this is simplest way to produce pure radiant and
also lights halogens very nicely...

I myself think that the "real thing" might be
something like Hairpin, at least one of the
capacitors is capacitor made by earth-connections.
Spark gap somehow fires to the ground, not to the
other stuff. The key here is the ground and getting
it to react.

Also frequency may be 20kHz - I cant help
but thinking about lightning "leaders" and about their
progession in air in following manner:
0,000001s progession impulse
0,000050s (0,000049s?) "charging pause"
which nicely converts to 20Khz cycles

All this is only speculations and "gut-feeling"... But
watching the videos and learning construction of Hairpin
is strongly suggested.

Hope this all works out, we don't have long wait anymore
before being choked with astronomic electricity and fuel prices...

I have a reel of 100m cable for the blue, gray and the black cable. I have used the cable from the same reels. The picture shows the reels with cable. That coil in the picture is different and not finished yet.

Inductive reactance: in ordindary coil current works against itself via magnetic field it creates.

Maybe this is the reason why spacing in Kapanadze 6-turn coil is big and changing it varies the circuit greatly! Big space = nearby turns get out of the reach of induced magnetic field and dont work against eachother!
