This is ridiculous.  Silicone is used to fix bath tubs and water leaks.  Now if he meant Silicon, that is still incorrect.  There is neither silicone or silicon in ferrite.  I machined parts for over 30 manufacturers of this material and none of them used the above mentioned ingredients.  What was the point of this inaccurate post anyway Chet?  What were you hoping to accomplish?  Ferrite is iron oxide, Fe₂O_3, nothing more, nothing less.

If you are going to be a surrogate for a banned member, I suggest that you check out the info for accuracy first.
