Ferrite is Fe2O3, iron oxide.  It is a ceramic material.

Iron oxide is NOT a ceramic material as you wrongly claim. It is mixed with ceramic materials such as silicon dioxide (quartz glass) to form a piezo ceramic as I rightly claimed and you claimed was wrong.

Stop posting disinformation and stop deleting the posts that prove you do!

Ummm, if you can read....I said that ferrite is a ceramic material.  And it is.  I worked as a ceramic materials design engineer for over 20 years so, I guess I might know.  We manufactured wave guides, and other ferrite products including those required for instrument landing systems for aircraft.  Ferrite IS a ceramic. If you can not comprehend this than, there is nothing I can do.
