Are you sure it is 2khz?   I thought it was much higher than that.  If I remember correctly, I thought it was 100khz.  Maybe I misinterpreted or thinking of something else.

The scopeshots are what I asked for, and they give me info about the output stage capabilities of your signal generator.

Please answer three more questions:

1) Do you want the VCVS buffer/amplifier to handle rectangular waveforms only, or sine waves as well ?
2) Do you want the VCVS buffer/amplifier to output only pulsating DC or full AC signals ?
3) Does your signal generator have separate outputs for the sinewave and rectangular waveforms, or only one output changed by some mode switch?

Actually, I believe that these effects only happened while using quenched( one way) spark. So there might be less need for concern here. But, just to be safe(for everyone) any radiations should be checked out thoroughly, and if any, find and use ways to contain them.  ;]

Yes Even if I am dumb and stupid, for pete sakes be safe. If you need to, expose a fruit to it first or something. But also go Higher in hrz. The low stuff is way to powerful for matter to stay together. It vibrates it too much. It has more effect.


Also think about this process in a simpler light. Understand what kind of forces you are dealing with. You want to create a surface to pull power from. You might want to sniff the device and see what fields are flying around it... I'm guessing you are getting more then you realize. I saw the one that burnt the table.


If you don't like the sparkers Tesla made a fully adjustable one and no real quenching is needed maybe some air. Thats on the Tesla universe link for the lecture. There is tons there if you guys want to read that stuff.. All his lectures are there and he explains all this stuff. Key words are high voltage.
