@Oscar, there is no wonder. The half sided HV source is polarizing the capacitor (through cadaceus at Romero) or the capitance of the distributed system of the coax coil trough diodes in more period. After reaching the voltage regulated by the size of sparkgap will the spark (and the discharging) fire.

i dont quite get what you are saying when you say , but in scheme is a secret, but it seems that everything is simple.
if you dont share the secret,
Good bye then.
we need all info otherwise we can not do anything apart from watching your videos. if You want others to replicate dont speak in methapors,
speak in scientific language,

I shared with everyone, this caused a laugh and do not trust.

I prefer now not to comment.

The reason for this reaction is that in the past many people have lied on this forum. Replicators have spent a great deal of money which they could not afford. So when something real arrives they find it hard to believe. It is not you that they mistrust. It is that they do not know you. Nothing personal. This has happened on this forum for many years now. The last person was Trawoeger who had many people replicating his pyramid. Then  ---nothing. He disappeared.  Please understand. :)

(It is totally freaky how ideas can converge. I had almost finished this post last night but it was way to late and I had to go to sleep. This morning I see @oscar mentions that @Collapsingfield has already leaned on this question. I will still post this because it makes the practical links to the devices.)

@all

Regarding TK devices compared to the WNYg devices, I think I know something now about TKs coil. I realized this today when working on this dual flyback where I am at the stage of finalizing again the damned capacitor requirements.

So here is a question that if anyone can answer will help explain it better.

The WNYg device calls for a capacitor at the CC output of 3400pF 25kV. This capacitor is key to drawing out the output. This is also a major pain for such small capacitance and high voltage. I am always having to put many of these caps in series to get the voltage rating and I am sure so many caps are killing the effect to a point. I proved this today with some resonance tests on my flybacks.

So I was thinking that 3600pF is not a big amount and that there should be enough in copper coils or other (maybe better) material coils that have capacitance (besides having their inductance) as well as being able to handle the HV.

So my question is how can I find out how much wire length I would need to produce 3400pF with a given wire AWG.

So taking this question and directing it back to the TK devices may explain the usage of one of the winds in the TK coil mainly that it is being used as a capacitor. Capacitors of that voltage are a pain in the ass and TK being rather isolated, he would maybe not have access to all his capacitor needs, to be able to develop this coil. I can only imagine all the different types he must have tried to get to his last builds.

This may have pushed TK to start thinking even more out of the box and he may have started experimenting using coils as capacitors.

Also, on the TK coil which is the output, any classical capacitor requirement (such as that in the WNYg device output) at that point would have meant more wires going into the green box, which there are not. So now I am more then sure he was using a coil as a capacitor wound on the same output coil so no extra inter wiring between the TK coil and the green box is required. I would say the outer fat coil of 6 turns is his capacitor. It is positioned way too far from the main coil winds to be working at inductive or close coupled levels, hence it is far enough to only utilize the coils capacitance and still appear to be used as a coil for the functional deceptive value.

@For SM devices (off topic)

This perspective may even change how I see the SM TPU. When SM says he made it with bailing wire. He could have used such a wire structure as a capacitor while also using it as a magnetic impress. In the LTPU there are only two big caps that are obviously not being used as a resonance aid. If the voltage levels were high enough, there would not be enough room in the black box to harbor any meaningful capacitance. So he may have used one of the ring coils as a capacitor. In the OTPU was see there is a circuit with ample room for capacitors so he did not need to use coils. Then in the STPU and 6TPU, where to put capacitors so he may have used coil for cap. He then indicated the circumference determines the frequency. Well so does a cap value determine frequency. This is getting really interesting.

@verpies

Besides the question above on how to make a capacitor with wire, I need to ask you this.

Before I start firing up this dual flyback, I did some low level resonance tests and have found that when the primary is pulsed at 650kHz - 50% duty the output from the HV side really shoots up high and fast. I also found that when I put a certain value capacitor across one of the auxiliary coils I can get about 30% more output. My flyback primary values are 1.1 ohms at 4.47mH so I am wondering how I can get this circuit to pulse at between 600kHz and 650kHz (sweet zone).
