Mentioned so far by Naudin as Principle of work. Displacement current. This as you pointed out have been expressed by our Admin, as a possibility also.

What is displacement current anyway?

I had to quick educate myself about what this is. According to those sources of info, the term was coined by Maxwel, in order to describe magnetic fields creation by the application of a electric field.
In simple terms, an electric fields skews charges in atoms/molecules and this very little movement of charges creates an analogue magnetic field. Consequently a varying electric field applied on thoses dipoles will create a varying magnetic field. *

This is the basis of a capacitor operation. Current "circulates" via it by displacement (little oscillating movement) and not conduction (free movement). BUT, the conduction current to the wires connected to the capacitor bear equal current intensity to the displaced.

As i see it

The only method to do any magic with that would be the application and control of an electric field to the dielectric medium (of capacitor plates or even biffilar windings) to be fully decoupled in conduction terms. So a small current creating an intense electric field to manipulate a large current created by displacement without diminishing the first one.... somehow.

But in capacitance terms, to do that in reasonable frequency ranges is the capacitance to be huge (for that power generation)!
I doubt if there is any way to do that.

ps:

* What it is mentioned is that displacement current of Maxwell, offers an explanation of electromagnetic waves in space. What is not that mentioned is that Maxwell, believed in order to exist displacement current at all  the space is filled with "ether" a substance capable of being polarized by the application of an electric field, that manifests a magnetic filed and vice versa.
