Well so to say we are very much at the same track. Recently I have  had "QSB " to be   active in "essential posting" due to "SideBand" disturbances in here , where  suppress of the "carrier to more than  A3j" is not the good  choice.  "QRMs are oddly discouraging" and instead of  my usual "QRO" I have immediately switched myself  to  "QRP" especially  because of Shockac. I tend to give him "99" but his contribution to this forum  is holding me with doing that.

I was  experimenting with phase shift  the
ATO INTERSTATE HIGH VOLTAGE LOG-LIN SWEEP GENERATOR F47  especially with voltage doubler is one approach
Another one   was Wavetek 193 20-MHz Sweep/Modulation/Generator
F3 with ability to interact in fully regulated fashion.
And A2 instead  of A3 (-as CW does not contain anything more but the carrier)

At fist I have started from:Leader LFG-1300s Function Gen but with sweep and  AM Mod. It does both separate knob for Mod and separate for Car. Level.

Results are being investigated   so far with F2 and variable shift Even that it looks unlikely  I have got   results of bumpy stimulator quite interesting.
A2 when pulsed  the same way as CW , -( instead of keying) with variable suppression of LSB and/or USB
at such  a low frequency is that what is consuming my time now. The typical bandwidth of A3j was instead of being 2.4Khz was trimmed of LSB leaving 3% of Car. Than  I was trying to find impacting factor by increasing Car and  minimization of USB at the same time  this USB was injected with variable 100 to 10 000 Hz  than  I added  pulsing at about 7000Hz with pulse from 1ps to 10micro/s

As the fact that secondary of flyback is not  responding to square in the fashion of linearity, of shape transfer.  I found that  what you doing is quite challenging.  And surely appears to be one.

The only difference  is that I still opt to stay  not with Star. You deal  with it  on daily bases and it would be very interesting to see implementation  of Star

wth F2 I have got effects because of repeatability. Than I have build and  memorized string of F2 and A3j
with intervals of square with increasing amplitude. The same as  Vladimir Utkin reverse ringing pattern.
Wow I can say that string is very much promising, real" pushed "simulation instead of  coupled one. I have applied this string in continues form  gradually eliminating F2 and or A3j and replacing a3j with A2.
Yes capacitive coupling of Wladimir Utkin is essential.

Your nail schematic shows a 220v 50Hz input and 10kV output.
What kind of transformer are you using to go from 220V to 10kV?

Good, I was playing with similar setup but with 555 and IRF840 and also with power amplifier some years ago but I burned them at the end. So definitely we need variable frequency input. Feeding two sin separate tuned phased in Tesla solenoid pancake wound coil from each side in superposition. This will also produce same effect as hairpin in secondary without spark gap. But much more difficult to tune, with the only 2 parameters wire properties (induction, capacity and resistance) and frequency. But this is long and another story.

dankie hook up your oscillator to ignition transformer primary, 10KV output is not necessary but need adjustment of the other circuit elements. SG or a solid-state SG (or synchronized rotary SG) on the secondary and a capacitors as mentioned on each side in shunt by new primary. Frequency on the both sides (HV transformer and hairpin) should be the same, or in hairpin side should be harmonic of fundamental input freq, what should be harmonic or fundamental of resonating object (ground, ferrite, steel). Biggest problem is tuning hairpin side primary (shunt) in harmonics to input. At the certain point you will detect enormous voltage rise and hopefully not burn equipment. Safety SG might be the case, but will in some extent destroy the rise, much better is to design circuit as self adjusted. (So as I see this is may be the secret of Kapanadze) That's it.

I started taking notes on the MIT lessons 8.02 few weeks ago , I write down and try the equations , not just listen , I am doing this for all lectures . Some I skip because I know . Some I didnt remember all that well .

writing down every equation and trying them like a student would is the only way to assimilate . My booklet is quite big and nerdy now . Also good to have an organised booket , always hunting wiki is not as good .

I listen to binaural beats to keep me motivated and fast learner . Sometimes I think the attitudes of some inventors and replicators are cruel , they are truely intelligent beyond imagination , their intuition about natures does not come from our physical reality . How can we "normal people" ever understand ? Hard work ? I hope so ... Dole can you understand my frustration ?

MIT education is mainstream , but I always keep an open mind , some people see this as useless or "un-true" , but they are wrong , SR said so .

Dole , Stivep , give me good books , pdf ( english ) . What does the spark gap do , how does it excite very high F , I do not get it .
