It looks like dimmer  control voltage unbalanced SCR. So it is typical dimmer PWM
This unit utilizes duty cycle  0-10V DC controll voltage.
When the voltage is 0 than  there is no voltage on output.When the voltage is 10V than there is 100% of output voltage on the load.
Scientific Community Member called it Hoax I did not and I DONT
Here is what I'm concern about.


 

First question would be what is capacity of capacitors.( at  the  smallest capacitance - single  one)
Second is how much current  generating circuit is taking
Third  he used fluorescent bulb .What is the power of the bulb and what (smallest)voltage the bulb is showing ionization .
The saturation factor of ferrite pipe is another question the more the winds on  ferrite pipe the ratio of the transformer (primary ,secondary) is affecting  voltage delivery to the load.Typically 110V AC is chopped by "tic-tak-ing" 0-10V What (looks like) he utilized is Ferrite pipe transformer to gain voltage to the approximate one (in comparison to regular 110V AC in regular dimmer circuitry)
It also shows diode rectifier(not the Gretz Bridge) (half pulse rectification
Definitely it is interesting experiment.

PS:

note#1: charging from two batteries gives (under the load connected) aprox 10V DC The "tac-ting" frequency is increased that at normal circumstances(of real dimmer connection) should cause delivery of 100% of the 110V to the load.
We can see that frequency going up.


What remind unexplained to that Scientific Community Member and to me as well is the fact that

note#2: when he removes capacitors he uses two hands
but from unexplained reason when he has so much of problem to remove the last one from the contact strip-  he is fighting with it using one hand only??   TIME: 8.28 min

What is super-capacitor really?  I do not know Do you?
It should be circuit mounted high capacity capacitor  I need more information about it. Is that the name given by some of manufacturer... in China?

Wouldn't that be easier and clear to us  if he would of  say : "it is  old type Dimer" and give us the model  number.

I' might be wrong.

But the possible explanation is high voltage Tesla coil (or resonance coil) under need of the table   
The diode acts as rectifier to make light smooth.
  But in order for me to be more confuse
The diode will not be able to withhold the current

He did not show starting the device from the battery.
The light from power strip was pulsing of 3Hz.Like it was  made up for this purpose. But light bulb did not even slightly fluctuate at all.

I can also setup Ham radio transceiver at FM mode
this will give me steady carier than instead of an antenna I use resonant circuit as the dummy load.
whatever I do with wires on the table as long as I have resonance plus amplification  using ferrite than I will induce voltage in the circuit.
High frequency will present low current and high voltage . Than total RF power induced is capable of being rectified by small current diode
I was doing experiments  with connecting  incandescent light bulb directly to output of transmitter  and it was giving me  light.
Brightens of Hoax device light bulb was nowhere near 50% of the total estimated 400W
question:
What is the power of the light bulb.
Is it 50W with large glass?

One thing I have not seen if my transmitter theory is to be applied.
As he move light bulb  there usually is little change of light  due to phase shift of coupling to under table RF.



anyhow I do not estimate the guy to be so much sophisticated.




There is another device called supercapacitor by the hoax man. When you charge it for hours or days than it will hold the charge for quite long.All you need at this point is voltage doubler and the rest of coil junk is just hoax for you to think..

You take few of thus small capacitors and mount them inside power strip
As the fact I need to mention that He WAS THE FIRST ONE WHO MENTIONED super capacitors.(in his previous video) till that I had no idea what it is.]

One that while it runs, feedsback to the running battery keeping it charged.

If it is accomplished, it can be used for many good aplications.

Ignore Fuhap as it is the Buzz back yet again thinking he is fooling us.  He tries to stir up trouble for some reason and can't let folks post here in peace.  For some other unknown reason, Chet feels the need to help him out. 

Anyone here knows the difference between silicon and silicone except them as it was misused liked 5 times in several posts which is beyond a typo.
