Good point Wesley. All is related to NMR. That's why famouls primary to secondary mass relation exists in Tesla coil. Each atom from primary need to communicate "signal" to atom at secondary.
All is conected very tightly and is very simple.
Did you thought what makes Tesla method of conversion efficient ?

A geiger counter would be a useful purchace for protection and awareness while experimenting.

There are not any ..or not to my knowledge, any semiconductors that can easily switch a broad band signal at such a high level .

But it must be possible somehow. Meantime triodes and rectifier tubes /spark gaps, will be my friends.

not good!!!
Microwave diodes are good for 50Hz.
do not waste your money for it.
I have spoken with them  no spec  no information no tech support, when you buy over the phone you pay aprox 20% more.

They have  only few of  the diodes you need and do not promise  date of delivery
They do not know   their stack quote" we do not have 15kV "
but when I have asked them specifically giving their   catalog number they found over 300 pieces. Still no good  there is no info about 100ns recovery time range.







They ask for your name and tel number even if you need only info.. Than you may see  this list sold to  advertisers and chain of  others calling your phone...
