Hmm, well if these 2 ends are from the same coil, then indeed the lamp is connected to the copper pipe via the black/red coil.
I don't know how you figured out the battery connection to emitter and collector though.

EDIT: Some attachments deleted to avoid confusion after Delamorto revealed the schematic. )

This is very good ! I like it ! Extra coil design, very clever, the weakest point is transistor. Can we have transistor working for wide range of voltages ? Like starting from 20V and adapting to 230V ? I think you know what I'm about  ;D FEEDBACK
