Once upon the time this thread contained concrete discussion about the STAAAR Yoke device with reasonably well defined maximum input power and unreasonably defined minimum output power but it still seemed special.

Are you sure ? One thing in STAAAR first device was fascinating: antenna.  Evry next device seems to try to hide this fact between various coils.

In my opinion the Yoke device was special because:
1) On the input side, the 10W power limit established by those two PCGU1000 signal generators was pretty convincing.
2) On the output side, the eyeballing of the bulb's brightness was unscientific and unquantifiable but seemed to exceed 10W significantly.
3) The oscillogram of the HF riding on top of the ~50Hz 140Vp-p waveform, was very unusual.

By comparison, the SAAAR Tube device (Lithuania experiment) had:
1) Nonsensical input power estimate based on the difference of power supply's power consumption with load vs. no-load. See: Reply #9256
2) On the output side, the practice of eyeballing of the bulb's brightness was as bad as with the Yoke device but seemed to not exceed 30W-40W on a 100W bulb (80% 98% of the input power)
3) The trumpet shaped oscillogram was very unusual.

THE SCORE:
Because of the above, the SAAAR Tube device gets a point only for pos.3 and the STAAAR Yoke device gets points for pos.1 and pos.3 and maybe half a point for pos.2.
Thus in my opinion the score is at least 2 : 1 for the Yoke device, and on that basis I consider it "more special" than the Tube devices.

The antenna was not necessary for the operation of the Yoke device. It appeared in the first embodiment as a means to finetune some of its operating frequencies and ordinary lumped L,C components could be used in lieu of that antenna.  Therefore I do not consider the antenna to be special or essential in the Yoke device.  If it was essential then it would have to be present in all working Yoke embodiments.

Only Itsu had made meaningful In/Out power measurements of the Kacher tube devices, and so far they did not show it to be special in any way as far as energy production was concerned.  If his scope firmware was not buggy, he could do even better power measurements.

If all electronic experimenters on this forum used real power measuring equipment instead of eyeballing light bulbs and multiplying average Volts and Amps measured with multimeters on high frequency non-sinusoidal waveforms, then there would be no more questions which devices are special and which are not.

For example:
There is a $7 IC at e.g. Digikey.com (the ADL5391 analog multiplier) that could be used to build an accurate power measuring adapter for a plain Digital Voltmeter.
Concretely a 4-terminal Watt to mV converter capable of high frequency operation (up to 2GHz) with non-sinusoidal waveforms.

A crude attempt to construct such device, with an inferior AD633 multiplier, can be seen at the URL below:

Romero's circuit is damn close to what tesla was doing, I saw it posted on energetic a couple days ago.  T1000's schematic is very similar in how it operates as well.   The circuit get's cluttered with the transistor oscillator components in place but it is almost identical to tesla's self excited receiver, the transistor circuit is simply the transmitter or "feeble input" to start the process.   L3 and L4 is the key in this process....  Remember all the voltage in the process is virtually the same but is converted in L3 to amperage to create the "magnifying" effect.  Look closely at tesla's receiver... everything you need is right there...
