I am polluting threads, but take a look what I (re)discovered recently:

This simple circuit takes power without affecting source which is the key to OU. It needs the pressure from source but source is not used. This circuit is always in resonance because there is no magnetic coupling to source, it needs only one frequency, no spark gaps, no diodes, no ground connection and no caps. Idea is simple: reach high impedance state that blocks current flow and then use bucking coils to harvest it. For me this works at grid frequency but I dont have gear to try it at higher frequencies. I have put untested ideas how to debug this thing further in page 12, input has to be sine wave. If you have ferrite and signal gen then you really should take a look, it is a few hour project atmost.

Nothing if left from your comment.Wandering in opposite direction rather then assuming that Tariel is honest person. If somebody could translate videos much more knowledge could be gained.

I believe zeitmachine is quite right. I tried to tell folks a long time ago that the spark gap's only function was to limit the output power.

Here's what we know:

The device is very light.
There are no advanced electronics about anywhere. All early 20th century stuff.
Take away the plexi glass from the aquarium video and the junk components and there's no "weight" left  for a heavy trafo.
In Tariel's 2004 video (full version) he shows two containers full of experimental metal cores and several metal working hammers and associated tools.  What do you think he was up to?
The nearest I can get to perpetual motion is Ed Leedskanlin. He showed us a metal core with two coils which was in perpetual
motion and proved it.
I suspect TK messed about with this setup and got it.

There never was any Tesla high power stuff.
The other witness is Magnacoaster.
He messed about with a similar setup and got it.
I suspect a toroid or triangular version of a toroid or a semicircular core at the centre of his devices.
Why else would he need metal working tools? It's possible he also modified a light trafo and created a meg.
The lightness may also be due to a high voltage trafo being modified.
Maybe two trafos wired up wrongly with a second metal core.
The rest is just smoke and mirrors.
I hope I've pointed us all in the right direction.
