 We don't want free energy per say. We are looking for a flow that is not been detected because we are only interested in magnetics. Which by the way is a result of the voltage field across space.

The two pictures below are Picture #1 How to convert the energy to mechanical. Picture #2 Is the source oscillator or sorce of the flow. How we choose to convert it depends on what we want out of it. Either AC or DC can be produced via solenoid and bifilar designs. Bifilar being polarized into a one way flow or real dc. How fast you pump it depends on the quality of the output of DC(pulse rate). Once put across a cap it becomes pure DC.

The rod of wood is just a former for the inner coils. The setup is a bucking coil setup and is capacitance discharged into the bucking coils. This action is like shooting a loaded gun into a rebounder, if that could be possible. After the first rebound it has gained enough voltage to cover the costs via what little current the voltage possesses from the rebound process. The rebounder in this instance is the two coils facing each other. The oil allows the voltage to max out without a breakdown occurring. You need to make sure there is zero air in the coil box or the coils will break down and destroy themselves. That's the reason for the oil bath.

Tesla said this new transformer/oscillator went way beyond the ability of the biggest and best designs for coils at that time.

Tesla had many of these boxes in the Wardenclyffe transmission system. I'll see if I can find the pictures again.

Oil is a good coolant and an average isolator (dielectric). It does not affect magnetic fields but it affects electric fields.

The dielectric properties are important for building capacitors or intentional capacitive effects between wires, plates and other conductors.
The "dielectric constant" and "dielectric strength" is especially significant for building capacitors.
There are many dielectric materials, that have superior dielectric properties to oil.

For example: Mica is a superior ancient material that has a higher "dielectric constant" and higher "dielectric strength" than oil.
Modern dielectrics have even better properties than that.  Most of them are solid, though.
