Inverter input  is connected to the 220V AC grid power supply and it will be converted in to 12v DC (6-8 amps) for  Battery charging with the help of  stepped down transformer present inside the inverter.. Mysterious noise will be heard after making the device as a closed loop connection by step down transformer 12v placed inside the blackbox.....


What will happened if two 12 V step down transformer connect parallel to each other with primary input supply on both step down transformers---loud noise will develop or not?

I took out a CPU power suppl today and the Input  is 120Volt 5 amps.  The output is 5Volt and 16 amps.  Now how is that possible.  There must be something wrong for the amps to be 3 times what they are on the input side..

Typical transformer action, when down converting voltage you can increase the current, this is dependent on how you down convert the higher voltage. typical CPE PSU's are switching type, i.e. the line voltage is rectified then chopped and rectified again, the duty cycle is what governs the actual voltage.
