I need a new AC/DC clamp meter which should be delivered to me next Tuesday. I can then get some meaningful data on my present setup. A series resonant circuit passes maximum current at resonance but no more current than is available through a direct metallic connection. We need to always bear in mind that the electrical efficiency of a device is determined by input to output energy levels, so current is just one of the variables that need to be considered and measured to ascertain system efficiency.

Like you, I am trying to think laterally and I have never got the impression that TK makes much use of measuring instruments, so to my mind his prime objective is probably to light as many bulbs as brightly as possible with the energy he has available from his remotely sited source supply. A safe energy transmission medium is important which is why I think he uses a low voltage, high current power system. I also think it feasible that he has had success in using the ground as wholly or partly one leg to his supply loop but I have not experimented in this respect, so again, this is just conjecture. I say this simply because I don't believe that the earth connections were intended for free energy extraction from the ground  Although I have always been of the opinion that his devices operate in accordance with conventional electrical principles and to be fair to TK, its quite possible that he has observed an anomally that he sincerely believes is as result of energy extracted free from the environment.

This afternoon I made the setup close as possible the one you showed in your last schematic. When I connected them, the primary current jumped from 10 amps to 37 amps. I do need to double check the transformers tomorrow before connect again. There is some variatios that can be tested, as put capacitor in the primary (pararell) and other is put capacitor in serie with the secondary. I will check the indutance of both coils, but as was said before in this forum, high amps will change everything.

Please take note to increase power\current output the induction coil needs to be placed in the center of the coil unlike conventional telsa coil where primary is located near the edge of secondary winding .

To Grumage please do try this approach and it should help to boost power.I have read this from Don smith a another successful replicator.Both Tariel and Don Smith were following details in Nikola Tesla patent.

I assume you are referring to the current from your domestic mains / grid supply? If so, what is the rating of your mains fuse? - 37A sounds mighty high!

The trick is to eliminate all stuff not really necessary to a point till almost nothing is left. Then build something with this »almost nothing«. If one needs more than two transformers and a capacitor then the design of the circuit is wrong. And I hope it stays this way. Could be it turns out that one transformer is also enough.

How about a big 1:1 safety isolation transformer and some lamps, only one transformer required and of course a source of energy - that's the rub. Anyway, you have my two transformer and one capacitor schematic above to play with. Just plug it into the mains and off you can go lighting lamps the TK way. 

PS: Its sad that you've dumped your beloved thyristor.
