@magpwr, thanks for link and I do understand correct inverter needed to connect to grid. thats why I was saying to Hoppy I did not think that Tariel faked using grid as mixing ordinary inverter with hidden grid power not practical and dodgy at best.

@Hoppy, same thing applies mixing inverter with remote 250 volt gen hidden wire will spell disaster and hard to set up.The island vid for the turks rules out hidden power supply be it grid or gen or batteries.

Captain,

As I said above, I agree with you that the inverter is not supplying the load. It's output would be insufficient to do anything but warm the lamp filaments.

why ? it shows very clearly the dangers of runaway I think....fortunately it seems to be limited....I had the same feeling in 2004 when suddenly I reproduced stinging effect in air and had problems disconnecting the circuit from battery... I wonder if those Brazilian youngsters had the same experience so they wear big rubber gloves before turning on the power...  :o
