Not 17, but 14 volts. He say, that better power suply remake and make it for 14, not 12 volts. He say not small amout, but something important he not say. Only maybe that coxal cable must be 50 omh. Ferite ring for former nanosecond pulses minimum must be 1000 HM, but I read in Belkin book, that most best result give 3000 MH ferite ring.
If you have questions, I can try answer, because some information to me send he, then we write in PM, that he not send in forums.
Also he say, that coaxial cable must be shorted on end. And he recomendate use G4PC50U instead KT926, because KT926 max voltage is 150 volts and it risky to burn it. And amperage have higher [/size]G4PC50U, than KT926, if you chek datasheet. [/size]

and what type is the ATX (what was connected after battery), and one another (maybe stupid) question, you mentined ferrite ring, its possible use instead old TV yoke ferrite core? its conical type, I still not saw how its look but I have at home 3 old CRT TV (2 is possible B/W), I havent time disassembly it
