from what I remember, that Gunderson device, and the patent you posted, was discussed here on this forum about 2 or 3 years ago, at the beginning of this TPU madness.  The inventor himself showed up, and he admitted it did not work, but most importantly that it was NOT the SM TPU that we were all hoping it would be.
