Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

I tried to pose my question once more:
10 or 12 PSI? Could this be real? This is a pressure less than the atmospheric pressure of about 14 PSI!

AlanA

Tommey Reed

I'm sorry, yes!
At 12 psi with an area of say 12in/sq or 4" piston, you will have 144in/sq..
Now the atmoshpere pressure at sea level is 14.7 psi....
So to answer your question about 12 psi, is yes.
12psi of compress air at 12in/sq piston area with a stroke of 12" will produse a total of 144 ft/lb for each 12" stroke of the ratchet engine, and a costant flow of 12 psi!

AlanA

1. May be there is a great misunderstanding or I have understood you wrong. I think a piston with an air pressure of 12 psi could no do some useful work.

2. I take your formula and did some trials. I reduced the stroke from 12" to 6": The result is a power output twice as with 12 ".

If we us12psi to start with:

12psi = 12 lb of work at 1 inch of travel.

The Ratchet engine converts linear in to rotational energy, with the only lose of friction. At 99% efficiency.

If:

piston(a) 12psi at 12" of travel = 144lb of work...say 1 revolution

and:
piston(b) 12psi at 6" of travel = 72lb of work...say 1 revolution

For (b) to equal (a), (b) would need 2 revolution to equal (a)

a=144
b=72

a=(bx2)
b=(a/2)
