With a working space elevator I guess those off world penal colonies could be a harsh reality unless someone invents a phantom zone like in superman.I saw one proposed plan where the earth has 50 space elevators the moon has three or more and so does mars.Imagine a world like that! Space travel for the common man!triffid

If magnetic lines of force could be used to convert matter back into hydrogen gas then we could tunnel  at ease underground on any moon or planet we chose to be.triffid

The gun put man over the animals with razor sharp teeth and razor sharp claws.A matter into energy device could put man into any place in the universe he wants to be.Even if he has to carry his own" fuel" with him.Triffid
